ABOUT US
Party of Five
The 2017 Barbershop Harmony Society International Seniors Quartet Champions
Party of Five is an award-winning a cappella barbershop quartet committed to sharing the joy in their journey of friendship and ringing chords with everyone: young, old or in-between. Supporting youth in harmony is the key to future generations of happy, healthy singers. There is always room at the Party for one more, for a song, a tag, or a good story.
Party of Five was formed in October 2015 and proudly represents the Mid-Atlantic District of the Barbershop Harmony Society. With a repertoire spanning Barbershop, Swing, Gospel, and Country, their smooth warm sound and heartfelt delivery come across the footlights to invite you on their journey. You'll be glad you joined the Party!
Party of Five is:
Dane Marble – Tenor
Dane is a third-generation barbershopper and Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) member who celebrated 50 years with the BHS in 2018. He has competed in numerous BHS Mid-Atlantic District (M-AD) finalist quartets, with multiple BHS International quartet competition and top 20 finishes. Before joining the party, he most recently was the tenor of Legacy, 2011 BHS M-AD Seniors Champion and International Seniors medalists.
Brad Brooks - Lead
Brad is a second-generation barbershopper and two-time BHS International Seniors Quartet Champion. He won his first medal as the best-looking member of Faces 4 Radio (no kidding), the BHS 2014 Seniors Quartet Champions, and was the lead of 2010 BHS M-AD Seniors Quartet Champions Hit Parade. He is a member of the Hershey, Pennsylvania Parkside Harmony chorus, 3rd place BHS International chorus medalists.
Ross Trube – Baritone
Ross began singing barbershop harmony with guys from his high school chorus, and singing has kept him (relatively) sane since then. He joined the BHS in 1991. His previous quartets included M-AD qualifiers Princeton Junction and Chain Reaction, and 2013 M-AD Quartet Champion and International Semi-Finalist Frank the Dog.
Jeff Winik – Bass
A barbershopper since 1987, Jeff considers himself to be a “rock star” ever since he won his first BHS International gold medal along with Brad in the 2014 Seniors Champ Quartet Faces 4 Radio. Jeff previously sang with the M-AD medalist quartets Crossroads, Sound Barrier and a dozen or so other quartets. This guy just can’t keep a job! He also has extensive musical theatre experience in the central New Jersey area, and performs with Princeton (NJ) Pro Musica.
