Party of Five wraps up Champ year with a busy Mid-Winter convention!

We ended our champ year at the BHS Mid-Winter convention in Cost Mesa, Ca. After judging a Harmony Platoon contest in the morning, we sang with the Association of International Seniors Quartet Champions (AISQC) chorus on the Thursday night show, and premiered Kevin Keller's arrangement of Pete Seeger's Get Up and Go. We're thrilled and delighted that the BHS included our tag "as sung by" Party of Five in the just-released sheet music. As outgoing champs, we "mic-tested" for the Seniors Quartet contest on Saturday, premiering another song for the BHS, and bid adieu to our champ year with a Swan Song set after the contest. We still had time to spend with our wives, dipping a toe in the Pacific Ocean, and enjoying the company and fellowship of our extended barbershopper family. Not sitting back, no way, we're already back to coaching with the awesome Jay Butterfield, booking shows, and preparing to compete in the open International quartet Prelims with the young 'uns.
